MDCC special meeting

Special Meeting to amend the MDCC constitution to enable the election of the Chair and Vice Chair at a Special Meeting in addition to at the AGM, and to elect a new MDCC Chair and Vice Chair.

The following amendment is proposed to the Constitution:

• Insertion of new Paragraph 6.1(c) as follows: "c. – In the event of any of the Chairperson or Vice Chairperson positions becoming vacant, the Community Council may elect one of its members to such vacant position(s) at a Special Meeting which shall be called in line with the Constitution provisions for Special Meetings."; and
• the consequent renumbering of the subsequent sub-paragraphs in Paragraph 6.1.
